Last time I visited Svendborg was in 2006. On the internet I found some pictures of the station during renovation of the railway tracks. As far as I know, this happened in 2007 or early 2008. During that time there was a temporarily station just 200-300 meters down the track.
I'm very curious and eager to learn about the actual situation. Has all work been done? Is the temporarily station still there or has it been broken down already? How does the tracks look nowadays? Are there still two tracks and two platforms?
I suppose the old station building is there like it used to be. I Really hope they haven't changed anything to the either stationbuilding, nor the beautiful platform roof.
If anyone of you happens to live in Svendborg and is willing to make some pictures, I would be delighted!
Kind Regards,

Hi Gert
I made a trip to Svendborg last week (just for you my friend ). I had a nice day at the station and the harbour with my dog. Svendborg is an interesting city and one of the few danish citys having a touch of the old habour atmosphere.
Here are some pictures of the station. I suppose all work have been done and there are no temporary station anymore.
I hope you can use them.

Wow! Thanks very very much Erik!
This is really great: a man who lives about 700 kilometers away and who I've never met in real life actually goes to Svendborg to make pictures for me!
This is why Internet is such a great medium.
Thanks for the pictures. Nice to see the actual situation in Svendborg.
I love that city and I'm sure I will return there someday!
Kind Regards,
Gert
